My mother always told me I had a great eye. One of my favorite things to do as a child and now, is to play dress up. You get to live a different life through the clothes you wear; it uplifts you in a very unique way. I became aware of that when I was young. I was exceedingly shy and style was the only way I could express myself. I remember when I was a kid: picking out the perfect outfit for the day, I would get incredibly excited for all of the possibilities ahead. The more people asked what I was wearing, the more confidence I had in myself, to be myself.
I started on a career path that didn't feed my soul, working in the medical industry for years. I didn't realize how taxing it would be on my mental health and, five years later, decided it was time for a change.
I became apart of a fashion production company based out of Portland and realized I had finally found my calling. I get to connect with a variety of different people in a way that astonishes me. I've always wanted to make positive changes in people's lives, anyway I could. I feel, with styling, I have found that strength.
